nobloatIs anyone else experiencing issues when trying to subscribe to Lemmy.ml communities from other Lemmy instances? I keep getting "pending" when I try to subscribe since yesterday. I moved from Lemmy.ml to vlemny to help spread the load but it makes no sense if I can't subscribe to Lemmy.ml which has most of the popular communities.
Alp@nobloat It doesn't matter which instance you subscribe to. You can still see every community and contribute to every community out there from any instance that is connected to the federation.
@alpy Yea that's the point of federation but what I mean is that I can't subscribe to communities hosted on Lemmy.ml, which is the biggest server. Communities from other servers are working fine. For example it I click subscribe to "Linux" on Lemmy.ml I get "pending" and I don't get any update from it
CodingAndCoffee@nobloat yeah, I've been seeing this same behavior. Despite that, my subscriptions did seem to work.
Jack Pippett@nobloat It could be your main server… I signed up on Lemmy.world and got instant access to the Lemmy.nl sites, seems very stable.
