In 7 days, the 🇷🇺 have ceded around 95 km2 in the axes of the Dniepr-Donetsk offensive:
20 km2 in and around Bakhmut
25 km2 in the #VelykaNovosilka axis
50 km2 on the #Orykhiv axis

+ 5 km2 on the rest of the front👇

28 days into the offensive, the ratio of material losses 🇷🇺/🇺🇦 has risen from 1.5 to 2.1 (it was 1.6 on June 4)👇

The focus on the destruction of the 🇺🇦 column south of #Orikhiv has obscured the fact that 🇷🇺 continue to lose a great deal of equipment too

The maneuver to encircle the town of #Bakhmut has made no progress on the ground 👇 where there is still 60% of the way to go (220°)

What are the obstacles to 🇺🇦 progress?

(i) #Bakhmut northern salient,

The 🇷🇺 networks of trenches are taking time to be "cleared"👇 while 🇷🇺 have had time to build up their defenses.

#AFU will not seek attrition by penetrating the ruins of #Marioupol, but will rather wait for a retreat from 🇷🇺 the army, once its rear supply lines have been cut.

The 🇷🇺 troops favorably positioned on the height of #Klischiivka block the advance of the #AFU south of #Bakhmut, but they nevertheless progress east of the canal 👇

sector 2/in the #VelykaNovosilka direction,

5 🇺🇦 brigades (the glorious 23rd and 31st Mechanized, 35th and 37th Marine and 68th Mountain)👇 lead the assault and converge on road T-0518 which follows the Mokri Yali riverbed

These assault brigades are supported by the 47th Artillery and the 128th Territorial, while the 3rd Armored Brigade is in reserve.

3 of them were formed less than 6 months ago, in 2023

🇷🇺 have ceded 57 km2 and control of 4 settlements:
#Novodarivka, #Blahodatne, #Storozheve and #Neskuchne have been liberated from the occupier's yoke
