Considering migrating Mastodon servers, but I have no real feel for how smooth a process it is. Could someone who's done it already reassure me (or warn me off) please? #Mastodon

@teahands should mention that it will move all your followers to the new account but that's pretty much it. Your posts still stay on your old account, so it's a good idea to link your old acc as your first post on your new acc if you want people to be able to find them
@thelettuceman Thanks, I know people do it all the time but wasn't sure how involved it is. If it was doable via phone it can't be that hard, though! Currently reading the instructions very carefully :D
