Damn #cat has gone walkabout just as I was about to shut her in for the night. If I trusted her to be able to get in one of the open upstairs windows I wouldn't worry as much. But she is older and can't always make the jump she needs.
Plus she is pathetic and will just sit at the back door until I open it for her rather than use a window!
