First they came for Michael Flynn and I said nothing, because I'm not a traitor and fascist.

Then they came for Roger Stone and I said nothing, for pretty much the exact same reasons.

Then they came for Alex Jones and I said nothing, except you know, this whole justice thing is pretty awesome.

Then they came for Donald Trump, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

#NoPersonIsAboveTheLaw

@QasimRashid I wonder if Abbott and DeSantis are thinking, 'Oh shit, they're actually doing something'.

@QasimRashid First they came for Chelsea Manning and you said nothing.

Then they came for Julian Assange, and you said nothing.

Then they came for Reality Winner and you said something.

About Trump.

@objectinspace do you feel like you did something there? Honestly did you think this was a gotcha? Do better. For your own sake.
@QasimRashid Please describe your images so that people who are blind (like myself!) can appreciate them.

Image: two Twitter posts by Quasim Rashid, Esq.

Post 1:

Someone explain why Chelsea Manning & Reality Winner got prison for releasing classified info -- but Jared Kushner is still walking free despite selling classified info to a dictator for $2B.

1/2

@GuerillaGrue @QasimRashid You're making my point LOL he only mentions them for the purposes of going after 45. I did forget he mentioned Manning as well, which does throw off the rhythm of my post a tad, but the idea is still there.

@objectinspace @QasimRashid

I wasn't making any point: merely providing you the contents of the images so you could make use of them :)

@GuerillaGrue @QasimRashid OIC you were describing his image. My bad--thank you!

@objectinspace @QasimRashid

Post 2:

Reality Winner spent 5 years in prison for taking 1 classified doc. ONE. Unsealed filings show that Donald Trump illegally took 7 TOP SECRET marked docs & 43 CLASSIFIED folders -- which are now empty.

If rule of law has any value any more -- this man belongs in prison for his crimes.

@QasimRashid But to answer your question, what I feel like I did was accurately described your position. If I was mistaken, you are free to correct me!

@objectinspace

You want some cheese to go with that whine?

This is why you guys keep losing. You can't feel good whenever consequences come to bad people, you just find something else to cry about instead.

@LoneWolf As a huge fan of Botched and 90 Day Fiance, I assure you I love it when bad things happen to bad people. I'm actually pretty happy with this indictment! I am just generally in favor of the government not putting its political enemies in prison, rather than them doing that. It's called a principled stance.

@objectinspace

Your "principled" stance is to stick up for Russian assets?

@QasimRashid
No person should be above the law, but a whole lot of people are.
@QasimRashid

So...What do you think of Congressman making thinly veiled calls to arms? Have we crossed the Rubicon, yet?
@QasimRashid Seeing as the first two guys are out there carrying on doing all the same things they were before they "got caught", and the third guy is free but has a huge tab to cover, yeah, I don't see much hope anything's going to be different for the fourth guy.
@QasimRashid
Don't forget the Fox News settlement where they paid $1/4 Bn for publishing knowingly false information.

@QasimRashid

No non-corporate person. Fox's leaders were able to step behind their corporate veil and not pay, and still take bonuses, when found liable. Instead of having their broadcast permits revoked, their economic power stifled, despite scandals their policies caused on multiple continents.

@QasimRashid
From a Carly Simon song:

Anticipation
An ti ci pa a tion
It's making me wait
It's keeping me way a ting

@QasimRashid this happens when you vote a corrupt and incompetent deplorable administration as in “trampie administration”! Nobody is above the law in a democratic society!
