Joshua HollandReporters and editors seem incapable of framing the #trumpindictment as a vital affirmation of the rule of law rather than some risky gamble with the legitimacy of our justice system. I haven't seen a piece suggesting that *not* holding him accountable might undermine public trust.

He will garner some degree of defense from the corporate media, even though his class peers despise him, because he is an extension of them. Everything we’re seeing is more complicated than #trump being an obvious criminal. The perception of the imperviousness of the class he belongs to must be defended. That makes this open and shut case treacherous.
