Probably a few things are left over from Mar-a-Lago's history. 1920s mansion of Post Cereal heir. Had been impressive in a Citizen Kane sort of way. But by the 1970s it was in decay; family tried to donate it to the US Park Service, but they took a look and said NOPE.
