@bobbakh brother, I hate to hear that. Here’s what I guarantee you: evil people in power will use their positions within ANY institution for evil purposes. People have done things in the name of God that the Bible explicitly condemns. The Bible itself is full of examples of this! It’s broken people living in a broken world doing broken things for broken reasons. But to ignore the ways in which the gospel has utterly transformed entire people groups who are faithful is is to miss something big.
