I remember how craven Republican electeds were when they hopped on the Trump presidential bandwagon in 2016. It appears they are now trying to outdo themselves as they chest thump and lie in reaction to tonight’s news of Trump’s indictment on federal criminal charges. The Republican Party has no regard for rule of law, legal process, or really any of the basic principles of U.S. constitutional democracy. It is not a legitimate political party, hasn’t been for years.
@heidilifeldman They don’t know the facts, or even the charges. How can they know that the charges are illegitimate?
@heidilifeldman Indeed. It seems so plain to me, but apparently it isn't to everyone. 🤔
@heidilifeldman not a legitimate political party? Really? A bit overstated. Honestly, bipartisanism is the planted root reason for such disagreement among Americans nationwide today. A cultural awakening of individualism is desperately needed to balance the inevitable capitalist characteristics of greed and envy as both are at record highs and climbing.
We need to remember what worked so we can build upon it together. How shameful news media should feel for their opinionated hate on every ch.
@heidilifeldman it's funny how none of them are defending him by saying he didn't do the illegal acts, or even "let's wait for the facts."
@heidilifeldman @icymi_law It’s so weird that they’re defending…this. I mean, Trump’s crimes didn’t forward a conservative agenda in any way. They didn’t really even promote his own political gains (unlike, say, Watergate). He doesn’t even seem to have kept good track of the papers he stole. He’s more like a toddler that wants them because they’re “important”. Why the rest of the party defends this is baffling.
