Parents just got this email from the school district.

Still marveling at what Democrats in the #MNleg managed to do with a one-vote margin.

One vote.

Not because they had a safety margin. Not because they expect to win again this way.

Because they vowed at the start of the session to leave nothing on the table, and finish with no regrets.

@inthehands WOW! This will truly make a huge difference for every child in the state 💜 I would expect that they will see returns in the form of greatly improved test scores since hungry children don't do as well in a learning environment.

This should be a federal program so that no school age child goes hungry. 🙂
