if so, in my opinion this shows maturing of their artistic expression. more is more, bigger is better, en pleine aire.
maybe the critics will be happier with their this period. themes are more clearly visualised in the works, and message more explicit.

Olm-e@outi this is probably the most relevant artistic action of the year, indeed (like the JSO throws) ... I can't find anything better using aesthetics and paint to "show" and push visually the collective gaze toward a question.

atm i'm gravitating towards the idea of universal basic income.
also, to become a private jet pilot in the first place wasn't imho a choice that was made with the objective to serve humanity or the planet, so i'm not very empathetic.

@outi @Loukas @Peternimmo Gotta feel sorry for some kid who's borrowed £100k to pay for their training and is beginning to realise that if the world changes as it "should" they might never earn enough to pay off the debt before their job ceases to exist ...

@Loukas @outi @Peternimmo Well, it's evidence I suppose that you're capable of particular types of learning, but a pilot's licence is a pilot's licence. I've not used my pilot training for anything in real life, other than it gives me a rather enhanced view of safety systems. (And in theory I can get a better idea of the weather.)
@TimWardCam Yes, exactly. I knew a captain of paratroops who ran a consulting firm about safety systems. I think it's a key skill and character quality.

i actually can (sometimes) muster some compassion for them too. as with Finnish fur farmers and peat entrepreneurs, bc they've been lied to for decades, and they've been gullible enough to believe. sometimes i'm just pissed. i've gotten this when i was in high school, why didn't they too? there's been so much lies and muting in media, etc, yes, but still... people are what they've been educated for 🤷♀️
@outi @Loukas @Peternimmo It's a complicated business, but if the GA pilot roles didn't exist then there would be rather fewer airline pilots, as the airlines don't always do all their own training and hour building, depending on the economic cycle.
But if you also think there shouldn't be any airlines then that won't be a problem!
