For #obsidian on my mobile devices, I think Iā€™m going to need to start a daily routine where I open the apps in the morning when Iā€™m at home on Wi-Fi and let the apps do their syncing and updating then.

Does anyone have a more automated approach to this for #ObsidianMd?

@n8dunn I only use one mobile device (and one desktop) so I don't think I've encountered this issue/need. Nevertheless, I did set up a siri shortcut that uses the ActionsForObsidian beta to create my daily note for the day: "Hey Siri, start my day"

@kboyd So that must run something in #obsidian on your mobile device? And does that seem to help with the start-up sync delay when opening the mobile app?

@n8dunn It launches obsidian and automatically clicks the "Today's Daily Note" button, so I suspect it would warm up the app for the day.

How long is the delay you're seeing?

@n8dunn tonight i found an option on the mobile app called "debug startup time", it shows which plugins take the longest to start up.
