You can now get a base-model Tesla Model 3 for $30,330 with the now-$7,500 federal tax credit and price markdowns. Say what you will about Tesla but you’re not going to find a better new car than that at such a price. Fantastic deal for a very good car.

@snazzyq The Toyota Prius starts at $27,450, has been around 20 years longer than the Model 3, has sold 5M more units than the Model 3, and is from a brand which has been around for 60 years longer than Tesla. And it is a hybrid, so doesn't need to rely on charging infrastructure.

@macsimcon @snazzyq I’ve owned both. There is absolutely no contest, the Model 3 is 10000x better !!! In fact it’s the best car I’ve ever owned (and I’ve had a bunch).
