@rubecube12 @johnserwach @ForeignSubstance

What you are worried about are cosmetic - cuts can easily be made up by remunerating via backchannels.

@ForeignSubstance @plutus @rubecube12

They are not cuts, they are merely not keeping pace with inflation however the inflation has passed so- it’s just an illusion—-

"I am a part of all that I have met
To [Tho] much is taken, much abides
That which we are, we are --
One equal temper of heroic hearts
Strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."

@ForeignSubstance @johnserwach @plutus

The market proced in a lot more cuts than actually occured in 2021. Inflation will roar back. Fiscal impulse did not die

@rubecube12 @ForeignSubstance @johnserwach

You want to give KM the symbolic victory so he can get magaturds inline - it's meaningless; also gives Biden more leverage in further negotiations

@plutus @ForeignSubstance @johnserwach

KM won't be around in a month. Will be negotiating with someone else

@rubecube12 @plutus @ForeignSubstance

He’s not going anywhere

@plutus @ForeignSubstance @johnserwach

Dems are going to vote for him? To remain speaker?

@rubecube12 @ForeignSubstance @johnserwach

If he has 150 GOP to vote for hte bill in the house he doesn't have enough support as speaker - what you smokin in Cleveland

@plutus @ForeignSubstance @johnserwach a motion to vacate the chair only requires one member. 5 good members plus all the Dems voting to vacate. Means he's out and you have a new speakers race. The same way Boehner got kicked out

@plutus @johnserwach @ForeignSubstance

This isn't Germany where you need to have replacement with a majority to succeed in motion of no confidence. Just need a majority to remove. Provleded motion. Anyone can initiate.

@rubecube12 @johnserwach @ForeignSubstance

I get it Danny you are a socialist at heart - the perpetual struggle is better than getting to a compromised solution. It's fine

The motion to vacate the chair and other provisions in House rules of the 118th Congress

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy agreed to a demand to allow a single House member to call for a no-confidence vote in the speaker.

@rubecube12 @ForeignSubstance @plutus

Who would give more concessions that the rest of the cays us would accept ? No one.

@rubecube12 @ForeignSubstance @plutus seriously? Who would that hero be ?

@plutus @rubecube12 @ForeignSubstance

This is 3-D Chess not checkers. You throw out McCarthy and you can’t get a replacement- who’s the country gonna blame? We call that “overplaying your hand”

@plutus @johnserwach @ForeignSubstance

2 republicans have already said they will do a motion to vacate. Just needs 3 more

@ForeignSubstance @plutus @rubecube12 who cares ? Don’t you see- they literally can’t do it. There is no weaker acceptable speaker than McCarthy.

@plutus @johnserwach @ForeignSubstance

Don't you see-- nobody behaves rationally. Is all a bunch of crazy people telling themselves stories and making emotive noises. Banging on the table. That's all language is

@plutus @rubecube12 @ForeignSubstance are your referring to us ??? 😂😂😂

@plutus @johnserwach @ForeignSubstance

Everyone. Emotive noises all of it

@rubecube12 @plutus @ForeignSubstance

If you blow your wad too soon you just look stupid. They can’t torpedo McCarthy … yet. There’s no gain there.

@johnserwach @plutus @ForeignSubstance

They get someone who is not a milk towel who is willing to give away the farm in negotiations

@plutus @ForeignSubstance @rubecube12

Ok, give me a name who you think could get enough votes ? Just one even

Chad Pergram

GOP GA Rep Greene: What upsets me is we had Republican members that were already planning to sign the discharge petition to pass the clean debt ceiling bill that upsets me..I'm not going to name names, but it was approximately 7 and possibly up to 12

@rubecube12 @plutus @ForeignSubstance

There’s two problems, finding someone who wants the job with these rules etc and someone that both sides can agree on.

@johnserwach @rubecube12 @ForeignSubstance

You may think it's unfair but this only hurts the dems. How is this crap condoned by local govts. So needless to pander... https://twitter.com/CNBC/status/1663949711043067914?s=20

@plutus @johnserwach @rubecube12 I have some Q about the data, too. For ex: '22 over '21 is estimated at +4%. So because of inflation, the amount of "stuff" stolen was actually less?

This is what a large swath of soccer moms and right leaning moderates are thinking that liberals perpetuate - how do we address this. Nearly every retailer I follow is complaining about theft that may put them out of biz. https://twitter.com/nedryun/status/1298947129948475392?s=46&t=myUg8E_NfUxKRXrtk0UUnw

They are all insured. Yes you are entitled. Most of these stores shouldn't be in business in the first place they all got bailed out. If we had raised taxes we wouldn't have had to raise interest rates. So instead of containing inflation and taxing the rich we got inflation. Since we aren't going to raise taxes we need to raise interest rates to 7%

@rubecube12 @plutus @ForeignSubstance don’t worry about crime- Biden can handle that. Pfft piece of cake.
