@mdreid Nice photo! Do the deer in your region not lose their antlers in late-winter/early-spring and re-grow them all summer? I was backpacking in a MN state park today and this time of year none of the deer have antlers 😀

@mbeckler Good question. I don’t know the answer as I’m just visiting the Bay Area from Australia. I usually encounter kangaroos rather than deer on my runs at home.
