I'm surprised that they even acknowledge the existence of intersex children. Once they grant that, then it seems that their claims that there are only men and women and no one can change fall apart. On the other hand, they don't need sense or logic if they have gerrymandered majorities and right wing judges, I suppose.
TurboQuokka@not2b @JessTheUnstill @TexasObserver @oconnell I don’t have the specific ones offhand at the moment, but several of these bills have had those exceptions for surgery in intersex infants specifically spelled out within the bill text itself. It’s gross.
