In one sense I suppose #Labour are right about the debate around #brexit is over. We now all know it is a failure. The diagnosis that we must never rejoin is however nonsense.

We need to be in the single market and customs union. The benefits of that dwarf any possible benefits of trade deals with other countries. Thanks to geography that's never going to change.

@chrisgerhard I firmly believe that this dogma from the Tories and Labour that Brexit is everything with no alternative vision will break up the UK. It can't come soon enough.

@guiltmanager @markmason it's past time for those fools to be called out as the fools and liars they are. They should be hounded out of public life. They were catastrophically wrong, often dishonestly so.

There is no reason to treat their views with anything other than utter contempt.

@chrisgerhard @markmason i absolutely agree! but they will rally and then prob get the torys in again next election, you can thank first past the post for that! thats how that buffoon johnson got in in 2019. are people stupid, or racist enough, to do the same next time around. who knows.
