No organisation in crisis can afford to keep losing experienced #workers with extensive tacit knolwedge.

So, of course, a key part of the #Tory engineered #NHS crisis is the continuing rise in staff resignations... which other than a short reprieve during #Covid has continued to rise over the last decade.

Abuse staff, under-pay them & over-work them and this is the result... and don't be thinking this is an unfortunate accident, its what the #Tories want!

@ChrisMayLA6
Yes, of course that is the plan.

So is the expansion of for-profit capacity. Really, who builds excess capacity in a system of free universal care unless you *know* the #NHS is being run into the ground?

@TCatInReality

Yes, its almost like someone told private #healthcare providers, 'hey, the NHS is going to have difficulties, you might want to make some preparations'!

@ChrisMayLA6
It's exactly like that.

Maybe some senior minister with a home in California and known to have met US health executives.

Rishi Sunak met private US social care firms to discuss 'opportunities' in the UK

According to redacted Treasury minutes, the Chancellor's attempt to secure investment from healthcare companies was rebuffed at the California summit

@ChrisMayLA6 Absolutely! The amount of money necessary to have a quality healthcare system available to everyone is far lower than what only a private healthcare industry could do. The NHS has amazing researchers and doctors and truly listens to criticism from the community, they need politicians support, not sabotage because of campaign contributions from american healthcare corps that do a poor job in their home countries!
@Aitchkaye @ChrisMayLA6 Never get the US system. Never. It is not only expensive; but also, totally impervious to outside criticism. Plus there is not a US health care system, instead there are at least 2-300 disjointed systems (at least 2 per state and several federal ones).

@ChrisMayLA6

They want us all dead.

They haven’t thought it through yet. Who will clean their toilets when we’re gone?
