Now maybe the WSJ can do a fancy feature on where a Black woman is sent to prison for, say, voting.

Inside the Prison Where Elizabeth Holmes Could Serve Her Sentence

The all-women’s facility in Bryan, Texas, includes family visits, vegetarian meals and thin mattresses

WSJ
@jeffjarvis only if she attempts to drink a sip of water while waiting on line in 100+ degree temps under the hot Texas sun.

@jeffjarvis

What would America look like if we didn't cater to/idolize the wealthy?

I'd love to find out

@jeffjarvis if they did one one the Tutwieler Women’s prison in Alabama they’re have to shut it down.
@jeffjarvis MSM cries for GRIFTERS! So does magasses. Ripping off people isn’t news. So many atrocities in USA that need attention. MSM ignores. Billionaires choice of news.
Elizabeth will learn a trade. Meet new friends. And get to know reality. 🚫🤡

@jeffjarvis

I'm a 10 minute or less drive from that prison. Been inside twice back when I was a banker to counsel women who were close to getting out on how to reestablish a banking relationship. It was pretty scary first time, but the 2nd time was okay. Carry on.

@jeffjarvis For-profit news is such a problematic concept to me when we consider how critically important the fourth estate is.

Would be nice if we funded not-for-profit organizations to the extent that people like Carreyrou would work under their banner and not the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, etc.

@jeffjarvis We know they don't care about incarcerated black women because society in general doesn't care to know about that either.
@jeffjarvis in the immortal words of Wayne Campbell, "yeah, and monkeys might fly out of my butt.."
@jeffjarvis i guess they know their target audience and where in the prison system would it land…
