28 years ago PCBs were expensive! £244 for the first batch of boards for my #SAMCoupe Quazar Surround soundcard, my first hardware release for the SAM!

Now the new anniversary edition boards are about to be sent for manufacture!

I've kept just about everything from the last 30 years of developing. I'm slowly documenting everything to use in future articles and snippets.

D'oh! Just realised that's a later batch of boards, March 1997.

I hope I still have the first invoice somewhere from mid '95.

Phew, found it! The first invoice dated 8th Aug '95. £286!

Frantic work upon delivery as I had the pre-order Quazar Surround soundcards posted out just 4 days later on the 12th.
