There isn't a "crisis in masculinity."

There are just guys who can't cope with there being any standards or expectations for their behavior at all after being told they could literally do whatever they wanted and treat people like property.

There's a reason every proposed "solution" is misogynist as hell and involves forcing women into a social position where their lives, bodies, and livelihoods are entirely controlled by men.

Because these men are pigs and want to live life on easy mode.

@gwynnion In a way it doesn’t even look like easy mode to me - the amount of effort and determination these guys put into being as awful as they are must be mentally draining. They’re angry because in many societies not being a dick *is* now easy mode and they can’t cope. Why else do they put so much effort into demonising and abusing men who seem happier than they are in their lives and their bodies but who won’t validate them by behaving just like they do?
@gwynnion this is one reason I’m so terrified of the Andrew Tates of this world and the others who directly target school-age boys. Schools really need to step up their act in addressing this stuff - forget imaginary Islamic extremism in schools, the real menace to society is the implanting of misogynistic and far right mindworms in the brains of pubescent boys and the men who are doing so for ad revenue.
