How do you scratch the itch of playing a #ttrpg when your gaming group can’t met up? (Or maybe you don’t currently have a gaming group)

@Role_Play_Chat When i'm not getting to GM, ideas for characters and campaigns build up and spill out constantly.

Also sulking and whining. :)

@Role_Play_Chat One of the upsides to rules-heavy games is that chargen itself can be a satisfying minigame.
@Role_Play_Chat Modding the heck out of Skyrim so it can support the campaign style I wish I was in.
@Role_Play_Chat Reading rulebooks, coming up with ideas for an adventure or a world, juggling factions for the game I'm running but that is still some time off... All that is scratching the itch of GMing, though, not so much the one of playing. I've noticed I actually enjoy GMing more... Might play some #SpireRPG soon, I'm a bit nervous, don't know much about actually playing RPG. :)
@Role_Play_Chat @aeduna write campaigns. They may or may not be playable. They may or may not ever get played. The act of imagining a campaign involves imagining players you’ve known, playing through it. It’s a great way to refine and explore a narrative.
@thorne @Role_Play_Chat you drastically overestimate my spare time :)
But I do have a file full of ideas. Trying to brush it up a little and post them here, maybe someone else will like and run with them
