Looks like the eyewall hitting Anderson AFB at the moment.
Pretty sturdy looking power lines, I wonder what wind speeds they are rated for.
Two story McDonald's. Hmm, is that really a KMart still?
Hmm, Guam Macy's. Foot Locker.

@ai6yr Two-story McDonalds doesn't seem that far fetched actually…

There's a two-story Hungry Jacks in the Queen Street Mall here in Brisbane.

You'd know that franchise as Burger King -- when they tried to set-up shop here in Australia, they had to change name as there was already a "Burger King" business registered in Adelaide.

@stuartl Hungry Jacks is Burger King?! INTERESTING! I only learned a few years ago about Woolworths and the name there.
@ai6yr Indeed. Those look like they're not going anywhere. From the looks of the insulators quite new. These are not the power lines you want to crash your small plane into.
@ai6yr Wind Speed Rating: Yes
@ai6yr I wonder if they fly everything away beforehand. 🤔
@DarinSimmons Yes, they do... expensive planes are not worth putting through a cyclone.
@ai6yr Saw that. Evacuated a lot of people and moved a lot of personnel onto the naval base. Already having some potable water issues. This is not unlike Andrew hitting Homestead, FL for a lot of the island.
@BakerRL75 I imagine they are pretty well prepped for these over there, considering the history.
@ai6yr No military base is ever more than adequately prepped. Particularly with all the recent buildup. I don’t know how the civilian population is.
