In addition to the shameless banning of that book, they see no problem with some of their middle and high school students reading at a third grade level. I'm sure the reading level of those students was used as an excuse to "disappear" the book, but sheesh!

Oh, wait. They did. And it only started to end 66 years ago. There are people alive today who grew up going to different schools because of their skin color.
This is such an obvious whitewashing of history. They want to remove all the bad parts so that the history of America is "white men arrived & did great things. Nothing bad ever happened. The end."
