@LilahTovMoon this is by far the best argument for Brexit I’ve ever seen. The UK is quite literally not European (when it comes to cheese-eating). On the other hand there is absolutely nothing as British as Britain’s 700 cheeses (Cheshire, Lancashire, Wensleydale, Cheddar, Stilton, Caerphilly, Leicester, Shropshire, Y Fenni, Yarg…), which makes the UK more European than most. A bitter ongoing debate is inevitable.
