Hey #RockstarGames, how about you go FUCK yourself?

This value-removing shit is crap and was retroactively added to the #Steam version of #GTA4.

This should be made illegal and I'll instantly circumvent that bs out of spite!

The "#Enshittification of #Everything" is driving me nuts.

WHY CAN'T I PLAY A #SINGLEPLAYER #GAME #offline?

WHY DID THEY RETRACTIVELY ADDED THIS SHIT??

WHY IS THIS NOT ILLEGAL???

And worst of all:
WHY DID I EVER PAY FOR A GAME WHEN I'VE TO CRACK IT ANYWAY???
MIGHT JUST SPARE MYSELF THE MONEY AND JUST TORRENT SHIT INSTEAD!
https://gtaforums.com/topic/978788-gta-iv-launcher/

And then big asshole publishers go like:
"WhY aRe PeOpLe PiRaTiNg OuR sTuFf?"

Because you treat paying customers like shit!

GTA IV Launcher

GTA IV Launcher With this launcher you can add different GTA IV directories and instantly run them through this launcher, so you don't always have to navigate to that directory first to start it from there. So with this launcher, you will always have your GTA IV installations in one place! You ca...

GTAForums

And no, I'm not going to make "YeT AnThEr AcCoUnT!", fuck that.

Also why can't I play it offline anymore?

IDGAF about the Multiplayer where one could use the figleaf argument "AnTiChEaT" and "BaN eNfOrCeMeNt" without insulting most peoples' intellect.

If I want to ruin my Singleplayer Experience, this should be my right as paying consumer ffs!

Mind you that's #GTA4 not #GTA5 or sth. else and that #GTAIV used to offer "Play Offline" as option for the Singleplay.

It would still nag people, but one would not have to setup a shitty account and could enjoy the Singleplayer...

@kkarhan I think the reason why people started to buy video games was, that publisher forced them to be online to check if they have a legit key to it.

And after they figured out that they make more money with it, they forced the people to be online all the time.

@utopify_org

And that's why I'll refuse to buy shit with #AlwaysOnlineDRM...

@kkarhan I mean going back to pirating would be even a good development. Maybe those big publishers/developers will learn how to do things right, again?
