Zinnia portraits.

I bought a big pack of “California Giant” zinnia seeds early in the #spring and planted a mess of them in my front #garden. In the past week or so they’ve started blooming in force.

@DaniEhm these are the seeds I bought, enough for several seasons assuming they stay viable. I may go sow some more for this year…

@schfinkes I hadn’t had much experience with them but bought several from a nursery early last summer & while almost everything else was suffering from the heat & drought the zinnias thrived. So I went with a big planting this year & growing them from seed has gone well so far.
