Martin Lewis on #BBCLauraK says we are paying £300 for the standing change of just having gas and electricity.

This does not seem fair.

@Geri His first mistake was going on that 'show' and talking to that ridiculous excuse for a 'journalist'!

@DJWhite He knows sure enough but takes the opportunity to say what needs to be said.

"We have monumental questions about consumer energy bills coming forward: they are too expensive; they are badly structured and there is no competition in the market."

@Geri I’m not in the country but I can’t remember the last time I engaged with any BBC ‘news’. I’ve written them off completely.
@Engelbert1969 @DJWhite I like to find things I disagree with it helps me polish my steel. X
@Geri @DJWhite so do I Geri, up to a point. After 35 years of listening to BBC news I'd had enough. Kuenessburg, R4Today's daily propaganda, Dorries given free reign for a solid 10 mins on the World at One by a sycophantic Jonny Diamond, fawning over the royals they like, the Lineker fiasco, photoshopping a Russian hat on JC, I could go on. Tory bast@*D's have burned it like so many other great British institutions. I now actually get informed by The News Agents and entertained by Mark Steele.
@Engelbert1969 @Geri It’s the ‘normalisation’ of giving RW nutters a voice that grates me. On the street I wouldn’t give them the time of day.
@Geri @Engelbert1969 it’s the blatant propaganda and gaslighting I abhor. The TV would be out the window otherwise!
