Introduction #6: Papageno, the #AfricanGrey #parrot, pronounced the German way. Years ago, out of the blue, he came up on his own with the contraction "Birdeno", he was mighty pleased with himself, so sometimes I now call him that 😁 Had him since he was a baby, now 22 years young. He has been with me through travels all over the country, 3 (kind of 4) moves, one wildfire, and his most annoying sound is - the smoke detector. He keeps his vocabulary current, though.

@CazimodoCreative He can be quite a brat too 🤣 These birds watch *all* the time and he makes appropriate comments 😆 Like when workers show up, he "backs up the truck" (beep, beep, beep - very accurately). Or lower his voice pitch to practice a male voice. Then of course he mimics all the wild birds here. He now loves to do the raptor's calls, and ravens. He used to do a really good crow in Texas.
