Did you ever use some program, then accidentally type some weird hotkey and something happens that makes the program completely unusable, and your next fifteen minutes turn into a search to undo whatever it was? This seems to happen to me in art programs nearly every time I use one, but it just happened in Notepad++. The key I mistakenly entered was Ctrl-Alt-R, turning on Right-to-Left mode.

@rodneylives for all its faults (and the easy jokes) I have been so grateful at times that vim will just let you hit esc until (relative) sanity is restored.

I say this as someone who’s used it nearly everyday for 25years.

@rodneylives Bwhahah, I just checked that out. Amazing.

It's great that the key to put it back is Ctrl-Alt-L, though, that's really very sensible. Guessable, even. If you're an English speaker, anyway.
