apparently I forgot an unused tampon in Links backpack from when I chaperoned him to the zoo on Friday, and he took it out on the school bus to play with it and "the other girls were freaking out," according to the bus driver, who waved me over to amusedly warn me. personally I don't find it particularly amusing. it's not like they were USED, just a piece of plastic with a cotton ball inside. period shaming starts young, I guess.
