It is only HARD to do because of tired old men, trying to take some cash to the grave with them.

Calling it El Niño is like saying the bank robbers took a Chevy to the bank again. Chevy, El Nino, who cares.
Climate chaos is going kill this spring, across the US; fires, storms, droughts.
This is now.
Now means demand that all carbon spending end, and wind solar collection be built at fastest possible speed.

I'm staying in an "eco home" at the moment with solar and batteries (I want solar at home but will have to replace my whole roof which is prohibitively expensive).
Anyway the nice aside from having batteries is that it makes you acutely aware of what you have and need. I definitely run fewer appliances, make the most of natural light etc when I'm monitoring the battery levels.
