I generally boycott Facebook, but we do own six oculus. Only two are on heavy rotation.

It’s too easy to fall into the trap of thinking that your own experience is a representation of everyone else’s.
@philip yeah these devices slowly gained popularity at home.
The big one we never use, and we have two of the old portable ones that get no use anymore.
@Migueldeicaza I got the original Dev kit via kickstarter. Played around with it a bit, then passed it on to a local school for use.
Not sure I’ve seen another since.

John Brewer@Migueldeicaza In addition to Facebook being actively evil, I’m more of an AR/MR guy myself. I started on Magic Leap, but also developed for HoloLens. Hoping Apple succeeds where they failed.
@jbrewer_jera god I love my HoloLens, and in particular a mystery game that is “custom fit” to your room. I can’t wait to play more stuff like that.
@Migueldeicaza Even if Apple’s headset doesn’t succeed, at least I get to develop stuff in Swift and Metal this time ‘round.
