@phocks Very cool. I've been on the internet since 1990, and had the same email since 1996 (actively used since 1999), so I've hit all the highlights.
@stacey_campbell @phocks I poked around on Gopher pre-web.
@heurism @phocks Gopher sites were pretty cool. I amazed my dad by telling him the current river heights in the part of Australia where he lived (he repaired bridges over those rivers back then) while I was sitting in my office in California.
@stacey_campbell @phocks the first thing I found was a Gopher from UT that was all fan fic. The Star Trek stuff was fire but I fled after finding Thundercats erotica. Snarf.
@phocks I'm okay with this.
@rysiek @phocks oh come on, you're cheating in some way. mine is so far only clear because of transitioning...
@selfisekai @phocks nope, been using the same e-mail address for 15 years now.

@phocks congratulations on a job well done.

I particularly appreciated the UI on top:

> This story contains high-motion animation. Would you like to switch to reduced-motion mode?

Seriously, thank you for thinking of this.

@phocks this is fantastic, I'm going to share it widely, it will be very educational. Huge thanks to your team!

@phocks Stellar! Also thank you for the reduced motion option.

I was aware of the six breaches of my address in HIBP already, so at least there were no nasty surprises for me.

@futzle @phocks thirteen here for my oldest active address. Only one on my current preferred address.
@futzle @phocks great ux all around, well done! 14 hits for my oldest public identity (~26 years) with no surprises, 0 for my private identity (~15 years). I intend to use this site as a teaching tool with my kids when we talk about digital footprints.
@phocks
I have multiple email addresses. I tried 3. The exact same sequence of breeches was reported for all 3, starting with linkedin in 2012. The third account is a dummy i just created on my mail server a few months ago. I ONLY use it to gain access when some site demands an email for a one-time visit.
Then i tried one that was in a comcast breech. I cancelled it in 2013. The sequence was different with it, but continued long after the account was killed. I'm dubious.
@phocks What an absolutely fantastic site.
@phocks Very cool. Well, the visualisation to bring it to attention. Not the breaches the themselves!
@phocks Maybe we need to start calling out our elected officials, showing them their passwords and other sensitive data that is available in the wild.
@phocks Great article and visualisation! I appreciate the published and last updated time stamps.
@phocks
Congratulations, your email has no known breaches
