I’m a grown-ass man who’s been doing what I do for 33 years, but when someone takes the time to send an email and give me positive feedback about my work, it’s still meaningful and is a welcome boost to my spirits.

@adhdeanasl you know, it’s funny… I do this a lot in my workplace as well and every once in a while, I will get the question “Fletch, you’re always so appreciative and thankful of folks just for doing their jobs. Why is that?”

I try to avoid the 50 layers deep on how some shit is hard to build up the steam to do if you’re not like 150% neurotypical, but the whole speech is there, in my back pocket…
