Ah, the joys of #ShrugAndBlock
I was reminded today that

"Nazis were actually socialists"

Is one of my instant block triggers. So it made me curious. What other instant triggers are around. Share yours, and I'll shout aye or "nay" to them.

#BlockTriggers #SoMe

@SuneAuken I instablock anyone who's using a hashtag I follow to shit on people who support that hashtag. I follow #crypto and #AI so I do this A LOT!
@SuneAuken I’ve found I’ve got two: posting “this guy did *anything from bike theft to child murder* and *something terrible and very physical* should happen to them” followed by pictures/full name/address. And posting “you know the Ukrainian people are actually nazis” on the 27/2 2022.

@SuneAuken
Many of the slurs around the Russian against Ukraine.

Ukronazi
Khokhol

But also

Putin was right
Cokehead (of Zelensky)

Many like these.

@SuneAuken

Crypto peddlers
Flat-Earthers
Any "use this method/program to cure your autism" shit.

There are other points too.

@SuneAuken
1. “Palm oil is a fantastic product.” (To be honest, no one but Kemi Badenoch has said this yet.)
2. “We need to continue building on the successes of Brexit.” (Seriously - what!?)
@SuneAuken Didn't happen dudes or people tagging didn't happen dudes profiles.
@SuneAuken "there a good people on both sides"

@t_mkdf

Aye!

And all other forms of both-siding fascism.

@SuneAuken i follow some accounts specifically for their sharing factual information. data checkers for instance. (did more so on twitter, so many have not migrated unfortunately). i then often read through replies and comments. and block desinfo accounts i come across there. so as not to substantiate any authority to them when i might come across them elsewhere.
@SuneAuken My block trigger on Twitter was someone being abusive in someone else's replies or QTing abusively, often with specious lines of argument. Two women I followed there were inundated with a lot of accounts doing that. Also came up as a vector of attack against Jews.
Over here I use the profile note function to put some info or a warning when I see it but haven't blocked anyone yet.
@SuneAuken quote tweets instead of replies.

@Geoff

There goes I. I tend to quote tweet a lot.

@SuneAuken quote-tweeting other people's tweets when you want to go "look at this interesting thing this person said" is fine. Quote-tweeting when you're having a discussion and you just want to bring your followers in to shout down someone whose argument you can't defeat? Instant block from me.
@SuneAuken but Elon (first name basis, as in close personal friend) is trying to save humanity! Spread the light of consciousness! Make humanity multi-planetary!

@SuneAuken oh, yes, anyone who posts a deliberately inflammatory opinion and then says "don't reply to this".

Bonus points if they use "reply guys" as an insult.

@SuneAuken
We civilised the world!!!
Apparently you can't make omelette without breaking eggs....
