This Is My Glasgow

The world-famous Hyndland Paddington standing guard over of the junction of Clarence Drive and Hyndland Road in the west end of Glasgow as he has done every day since 1981

Hand-knitted by the flat's owner and one day accidently left this first floor window by a friend's daughter, he rapidly became a local landmark and has been there pretty much ever since.

The Hyndland Paddington changes his clothes with the seasons, and alongside him, you'll usually see postcards sent to him from all over the world. Often these will have been minimally addressed (such as Paddington in the window in Hyndland), but still they get to him. That's fame for you!
