#SevenOnSunday #houseplant edition + #MothersDay edition! Happy Mother's Day to all: here's to all who have nurtured and raised us- whether they were birth mothers, adoptive or foster mothers, grandmothers, big sisters, aunts, house mothers, Great Earth Mother or any kind of mother! and may we all find in ourselves the spirit of nurturing and encouraging for one another, our fellow species and planet! plant details in replies @plants #florespondence #IndoorGardening #succulents #tropicals
pics in collages: top L/R Murdannia loriformis Bright Star which I showed recently as a newly bought foliage plant- it had what seemed to be a spent flower stem, but it has produced new flowers (though I may have killed the rest of the buds, not having realised it was dry!),
Centre: flowers of Haworthia truncata Lime Green (actually a hybrid with some other species). Haworthia flowers are tiny, not showy, and indoors at least, on long scraggly stems-- easily overlooked, but worth a close look!
