I wish I had captured the argument I witnessed just before this photo. All 3 were in a VERY heated discussion.

In my mind, the only explanation was some drama in a gay love triangle.🏳️‍🌈

I googled if "Mallards could be gay" (of course).

Wikipedia:
"Mallards have rates of male-male sexual activity that are unusually high for birds, in some cases, as high as 19% of all pairs in a population."

Instincts confirmed. 💥😂

I have yet to ask Google if Mallards can be in a poly relationship. I'm concerned too many of these searches will lead to some really strange targeted ads.

Rabbit hole giving me giggles in this case. 😂

I knew that Mallards mate with other species of ducks pretty frequently and also are sometimes intersex but high percentage gay was new to me.

I'm wondering if all the hybrids are from Mallards mating with other females or if other species ever mate with female Mallards.

@angeliquesophia I think they have these bizarre appendages and their mission on the planet is to use them for as many things as possible. I know people like this, too. Unfortunate for many a barnyard hen.
