The only time I’ve managed to get anywhere close was, after a year of work related Covid restrictions meaning that I basically couldn’t do anything inside ever, I walked a couple half marathons a week for a while.

@BitterOldPunk yeah, he has that ease that comes with utter mastery, madly asssited by the incredibly talented people he plays with.
For me, the thing that elevates it isn’t the game they play though - it’s the clear love and affection they all have for each other.
On the tangent: varieties of English accent (north/south/welsh/scot/etc).
