I had the experience of having my unexposed film confiscated in the Soviet Union back in 1986. The Russkies were nice enough to give me the film back when I exited the border back to Poland a week later. When I got it back, I found one roll that appeared to have been unexposed, so I inserted it back into my camera. The result was a whole roll of double exposures, which included a picture of me appearing to leer into a hotel window at the concierge...
