Hey #3DPrinting people, thanks a lot for the help on slicing software!
Would you also have advice on a good #Resin to use with these characteristics:

  • fine details (~ 0.1mm resolution or finer)
  • non-brittle (can be tapped for screws)
  • strong & shock resistant
  • to be used with Phrozen (Sonic Mini 4K)

Or, is there a better place to ask questions on this?

Used Siraya tech build resin in Sonic Grey and Siraya tech Simple Clear resin and they both seemed too brittle for my use. But I might do something wrong…

#3DPrinting question: what software do you use for “slicing” with a Resin printer? I currently use Chitubox but it seems a bit limited… (not too bad either for a free program) Edit: added resin

@elduvelle Some people mix in some Siraya Tech Tenacious to reduce brittleness. I've used it by itself and it is very stinky. Here is a discussion about ratios. https://www.reddit.com/r/resinprinting/comments/ysbmst/ideal_ratios_for_mixing_siraya_tech_tenacious/
Ideal ratios for mixing Siraya Tech Tenacious with X resin to reduce brittleness?

My every day resin I use is Phrozen 8K gray. It works great, but I noticed that, especially for small prints like D&D miniatures, it is extremely...

@robdeloach Thanks so much!
Does it still smell once cured?
@elduvelle I didn't not that. But I was a bit surprised by how bad it was uncured. And it obviously won't work with the clear since it's a darker grey.
