@Patrickoldhiker @malc @Popehat

Angry People: We should have more genetic diversity in the Royal family.

Prince Harry: Let me introduce my fiancée.

Angry People: No, not like that. We definitely very much did not mean that.

@scottmiller42 @Patrickoldhiker @malc @Popehat by many accounts the problem is not her genetics. Even her own family dislike her personality.
@throAU @scottmiller42 @Patrickoldhiker @Popehat I'm not sure I'd believe any printed reports about her & them. "The media" has a lot of interest in a family feud, and almost none in a boring difference of opinion!
@throAU @scottmiller42 @Patrickoldhiker @malc @Popehat You mean, she has a personality, and that's not what they want from the wife of number <n> in line to the throne.
@jbqueru @scottmiller42 @Patrickoldhiker @malc @Popehat no I’m referring to how she treats her family
@throAU @jbqueru @scottmiller42 @Patrickoldhiker @Popehat no, you're referring to how it's reported that she treats her family, which is not quite the same thing!
@malc @jbqueru @scottmiller42 @Patrickoldhiker @Popehat and you’re relying on reports of the royals in the media which is not quite the same as reality either 🤷‍♂️
@throAU @jbqueru @scottmiller42 @Patrickoldhiker @Popehat which is what I wrote previously: the media has an interest in feuds and scandal. What we do know is that the coverage of her late mother-in-law was skewed to make her the victim and him the villain, when any objective account gives neither much credit (I.e. they both behaved poorly).
@scottmiller42 Perhaps he should have wooed some daughter of the Japanese royal family?
@scottmiller42
Prince Harry: And have you met James Hewitt?
