There is literally no evidence linking offshore wind development to whale deaths. The times and locations of whale Unusual Mortality Events don't match the timelines for offshore wind activities in the US. But whales are precious animals. Some species, such as North Atlantic Right Whales, are gravely endangered. And it is well-documented that human activities can affect whales in some circumstances. So it is understandable that people are worried when whale deaths rise
