I'm really impressed with this little radio so far, especially for the price. The receive sensitivity is the best I have on any HT. Software config isn't great, no bulk import so need to key in each channel, but the vendor is providing CHIRP support soon that will completely fix this. USB charging is the big win for me. It arrived in 4 days to the UK too.
@G1LRO If it had Chirp support I'd be ordering one right now as an 'upgrade' from my Baofeng.
@g4mjs definitely looking forward to CHIRP, it looks like this will be a vendor-supported implementation too so should be robust. This was thier announcement:

@G1LRO Have you got a link to the listing on Ali Express? There are dozens of potential suppliers, would be keen to use the one that shipped yours so quickly 🙂
@G1LRO @mw1cgg Liked your review so much I bought one myself - defo needs Chirp support but seems pretty solid.
@g4mjs @mw1cgg I'm hoping they'll bring that soon, but looking at the backup files for their CPS software, the data looks like it's in an open format anyway. Perhaps we can get some community members to write an excel import tool so we can bulk import.
@G1LROI believe they said they were working on it.
@g4mjs @mw1cgg @g4mjs I've managed to open the CPS save file in Excel and can edit so perhaps a CHIRP format converter would be an easy option to export from CHIRP and then load into the radio with the CPS.
@G1LRO @mw1cgg Oh that's interesting. I may have a look at knocking something up, can't be that hard.
@g4mjs @mw1cgg the CPS backup file is simple XML so should be straightforward to manipulate programmatically, above my programming skill level without me learning an up to date language
