@chargrille I wonder if the unanimous verdict requirement lowered the amount, as the jury could only go as high as it's stingiest member.

It's also just really disproportionate. It's weird that that hypothetical juror would be willing to go to nearly $5m in damages & then shirk on the punitives. Leaves me with a yucky feeling in the pit of my stomach, as a woman.

But it's harder for the GOP to dismiss a "unanimous jury verdict" that he committed sexual assault. Not that they won't try...

Carroll accused Trump of sexually assaulting her during a chance encounter at a Manhattan department store. He has denied her allegations, calling her a liar.
