CarlG@juddlegum Given the sexual assault finding, I'm surprised the punitive weren't higher. $5m is an annoyance to Trump, but won't break the bank.
Erin Conroy@CarlG314 I agree, count me very surprised (and disappointed) by the very low punitives! Was just saying this earlier when I saw the breakdown of damages.
@chargrille I wonder if the unanimous verdict requirement lowered the amount, as the jury could only go as high as it's stingiest member.
@CarlG314 I hadn't realized there was a unanimous verdict requirement. Horrible. It sends a horrible message to rich men about sexual assault.
@chargrille It was horrible particularly when one guy apparently watched the Tim Pool podcast.
But it's harder for the GOP to dismiss a "unanimous jury verdict" that he committed sexual assault. Not that they won't try...
