Fun labelling of the rock strata, which as a happy accident forms an attractive border at the bottom. I’m now done with linework; I want to experiment with some colour, I’m thinking of a watercolour esq wash, emulating the style of printed maps hand coloured. #cartography #ttrpg #worldbuilder

@chloethecartographer This is total overkill for a TTRPG map but totally appropriate for a map of a Dwarven kingdom!

@alfora it's massive overkill, I wanted to try this style and showcase what can be achieved, it's already lead to extra work. That said, I think often extra details inspire unexpected gameplay opportunities.

@chloethecartographer Needs more shale.

@NinjaDebugger that's funny
@chloethecartographer Blame Elaine Cunningham, I stole it from one of her books. That saying has been stuck in my mind for thirty years.
@chloethecartographer nice way to do a vertical map!
