@lolennui The term "the deep web" annoys me! It's nowhere near cohesive as the term implys, & the quality you get for digging beneath the surface web is a lot higher.

As you say, the nastiness is on the surface web!

Then there's the question of whether a distinction is being made between "the deep web" & "the dark web".

@lolennui they are really everywhere. I try my hardest to call them out. I don't yell and scream but I do ask them questions that make them think. I have to explain white privilege and try to plant the seed. They really think they are being treated unfairly. I get called ugly names. My response is that there are so many good reasons not to like people. Why put more divides and miss out on some truly great people. If Trump and the others have no supporters then they lose votes.

@lolennui these jerks show up in odd places, posing with weapons and trying to push people around. It's scary, but I really won't put up with this shit.
We need thoughtful, careful planning, and a concerted effort to just shut those boys down really solidly.
Sometimes it's actually best just to let them blow off steam in their own little bubble. Google uses the bubble against us, we can use it too.

@lolennui I just sent feedback to Google the other day telling them to stop putting right wing YouTuber garbage in my feed. I've never clicked on any of it and even marked related topics as disinterested. It just keeps promoting that crap anyway.
