I know everyone has their own shit to deal with. But knowing there are #Goose fans out there who have heard both the Chicago Hungersite and Eugene Borne—yet prefer the Eugene Borne, is really causing me to question humanity and the future of our country and planet.

Please send vibes.

@chopaganda are you one of those weird people who doesn’t think the Borne is good
@ry_storm The Borne is great. It’s just not an elite jam. Too much samey samey. No payoff that’s the hallmark of great jams. And not saying the payoff needs to be a bliss peak. It could be something dark and intense to go with the vibe. But there just isn’t a payoff to go with the journey.

@chopaganda lack of payoff is part of why it’s so good imo - the constant layering of textures from Rick and Peter without needing to go for a peak

@Hosewood agrees with you though

@ry_storm @Hosewood A jam that doesn’t create something is called noodling.
@chopaganda @Hosewood it creates something it just doesn’t have a peak
@ry_storm @chopaganda @Hosewood I think that’s called edging.
@ry_storm @chopaganda I agree with Chop here. Is it a pleasing piece of music to listen to? Yes. Is it an example of elite improv? No. The latter statement doesn’t diminish it in any way.
@ry_storm @chopaganda @Hosewood I don't know what you guys are talking about, but I agree with Ryan
